​My family (The Schubert Family) lived at the Coney Island Lighthouse from 1960 until 2003 - my grandparents worked hard to keep the waters of Coney Island safe, while raising a family there. Then my parents met and fell in love in Coney Island - my mother was working with my grandmother at Surf Lanes, the bowling alley in Coney Island, and my father and grandfather went there to bowl.

Without Coney Island, I wouldn't be here!
